In S2 E30, with our featured guest, County Councilman Joe Holloway, we examine the roadblocks to filing ethics complaints with the County government, and how the process lends itself to the possibility of retaliatory action by the Executive branch. Additionally, we discuss the Greater Salisbury Committee's support for eliminating the revenue cap that presently limits property taxes, thus reining-in government spending. We'll also fill you in on legislation requiring all county-owned vehicles to display permanently affixed decals for identification. The Executive has failed to comply with this legislation and we show her using a county vehicle for unauthorized, non-government business in defiance of county ordinance. Will the County Council take appropriate measures to enforce the law when the Executive willfully disregards it? Tune in and be informed.
