Hastings, current Wicomico County Councilman and a Candidate for Maryland House District 38-B joins the show to talk about some of the major environmental and political issues happening right now in the county. Councilman Hastings shares his perspectives on a variety of topics, including the County Executive's impending 287(g) agreement with ICE, recurring attempts to increase the number of liquor stores, self-inflicted delays to the next phase of the vital Wicomico River Dredging Project, and her fiscally irresponsible and environmentally destructive plan to dispose of vast amounts of dredge spoils at the Connelly Mill quarry site. Councilman Hastings also recently announced his intention to run for State Delegate (District 38B) and discusses some of his agenda, including his support for agriculture (he comes from a farming family) and land conservation for future generations.
